Based at the foot of Livigno's slopes, Hotel San Giovanni is a small and cosy property, perfect for a family ski holiday.
With just 20 rooms, the hotel has a homely feel. The welcoming bar and lounge are a great spot for a post-ski drink; if the weather is nice, head outside to the sunny piste-side terrace for a drink with a view or treat yourself to a snack from the pizzeria. The hotel is offered on a half-board basis; in the evening, the main restaurant serves up three delicious Italian courses and there's a fantastic wine cellar with plenty of local wines on the menu.
The Hotel San Giovanni has a fabulous location just 20m from the nearest ski lift which takes you straight to the Carosello gondola. It's about 2km into the centre of resort from the hotel and a free shuttle bus runs back and forth.
