Skiing

Homewood boasts over 1,260 skiable acres, with an elevation reaching 2,530 meters at its summit. Noteworthy runs include the steep and challenging 'The Face' and the long, scenic 'East Peak,' accessed by lifts such as the Quail Chair and Old Homewood Mountain.

Homewood offers good sking, particularly, for Expert and Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Homewood is Chicago O'Hare, 44 minutes drive away.

Reno Tahoe, Sacramento, Mitchell/Milwaukee, Louisville and Chico Muni airports are all within three hours drive.

Chicago O'Hare and Reno Tahoe are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Homewood Ski Resort is easily accessible via major routes, located about 15 miles from both Truckee and South Lake Tahoe. The nearest major airport is Reno-Tahoe International Airport, approximately 60 miles away.

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Late April.
