Eurostar To Run Additional Trains in February Half Term
Published : 14-Sep-2016 10:03
Eurostar has announced additional trains will be running direct to the French Alps from St Pancras on key February Half term dates in 2017.
Tickets for the additional services have gone on sale today (September 14th, 2016) with return fares from £309.
The extra ski trains come in response to popular demand with the original half term services. The four extra services will follow the usual timetable – with two outbound trains departing London on a Saturday night, whisking travellers up to the mountains in time for a Sunday morning on the slopes. The journey home will depart on Sunday mornings, arriving in London that afternoon.
"The services to the French Alps offer a hassle-free journey, taking winter sports fans direct from platform to piste and offering a generous baggage allowance including two suitcases plus hand luggage and skis or snowboards at no extra cost," a Eurostar statement reads.
The extra trains are on the 11th and 18th Feb, 2017 from London to the French Alps, returning from France on the 12th and 19th Feb, 2017.
They depart London St Pancras at 19:42 and Ashford at 20:28 arriving Moûtiers for the 3 Valleys and other resorts at 05:34, Aime la Plagne at 05:58 and Bourg St Maurice for Les Arcs, La Rosiere and (a bus transfer away) the Espace Killy, at 06:17.
Return trains depart Bourg St Maurice 09:34 and Moûtiers 10:14 and arrive Ashford 15:37 and St Pancras 16:13
Tickets are available on www.eurostar.com or by calling 03432 186 186.
