Right in the centre of town, Chalet Whymper has without doubt one of the best locations in the whole of Chamonix. Tucked away down a peaceful side street, but only a few minutes walk from the lively bars and restaurants of Chamonix.
Chalet Whymper is full of alpine charm and character with plenty of wood panelling and a cosy fire in the living area. There are ten en-suite twin / double bedrooms, a super social open plan lounge and dining area with log fire, XBOX 360 Kinect & free Wi-Fi plus a sunny balcony which enjoys stunning views of the Mont Blanc Massif.
Chamonix’s main ski areas are easy to get to from the chalet. The Brevent ski slopes are closest – either a 10 minute walk or you can walk 3 minutes to the Savoy nursery slope and take a drag lift which connects with the Brevent Gondola. And the free ski bus stop which connects to all ski areas in the Chamonix valley is just a 3 minute walk away.
