Renovated in 2023. Urbanz offers accommodation in downtown Christchurch. The building features a range of rooms with either shared, female-only or private bathrooms.
Guests can play a game of pool or watch a show on the satellite TV while enjoying a drink at the on-site bar. There is a self-catering kitchen and a paid guest laundry service is also available. Towels are provided free of charge for all of our guests.
A flat-screen TV is provided in all double and most family bedrooms.
Public buses from and to the airport leave and stop close to the building.
Urbanz is situated next to New Regent Street, which has a range of bars, cafes, restaurants and an inner city tram. It is 2 minutes' walk from the cathedral, Theatre Royal and The Piano performing arts centre. It is 8 minutes' walk to Christchurch bus station and within 15 minutes' walk of a range of tourist attractions and a supermarket.
Urbanz has a large self-catering communal kitchen that is stocked with everything you might need from rice cookers to crockpots. Guests can play a game of pool or watch a movie at the in-house Cinema and a paid laundry service is also available. Towels are provided free of charge for all of our guests.
