The resort features the Pirin Mountain range, with a ski area covering approximately 75 km of slopes. The highest elevation reaches 2,600 meters, with notable pistes including the 'Tomba' and 'Bunderitsa', served by efficient lifts like the Gondola and the 6-seat chairlift.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Bansko is Sofia, 104 minutes drive away.

Plovdiv airport is also within three hours drive.

The most convenient way to reach Bansko is via Sofia Airport, approximately 160 km away. Regular shuttle services and car rentals are available for easy access to the resort.

Snow-making is available, on 45km 28 miles of ski runs, with 161 snow cannons.

When is Bansko open?

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.
