The ski area of Formigal is in the Spanish Pyrenees at an altitude of 1,510m4,954ft, with 137km85 miles of marked runs.

Summary

Formigal is part of the Aramon ski area with access to 259km161 miles of downhill skiing, with 202 marked pistes, served by a total of 72 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Formigal itself (137km85 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Aramon ski resorts of Cerler, Javalambre, Panticosa and Valdelinares.

The ski resort itself is at 1,510m4,954ft, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 2,200m7,218ft, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Formigal is Huesca, 96 minutes drive away.

Lourdes, Pau, Pamplona, Zaragoza, Biarritz and Lleida-Alguaire airports are all within three hours drive.
