Review of Arosa, Switzerland

"Easy access and relaxed skiing"

reviewed by Admin *

Had a fun spring ski trip to Arosa. Decent slopes, gorgeous scenery, and great snow made for a fantastic few days. Getting there was half the fun: we flew into Zurich and took the scenic Swiss trains all the way to Arosa (hot tip: download the SBB app!). The final leg up into the mountains on a narrow-gauge railway is fab.

The three main peaks of Hörnli, Weisshorn, and Bruggerhorn provide a good variety of runs.

Snow was good spring conditions - a bit crunchy early, but lovely from mid-morning. We clocked 40km of skiing and over 6,000m of vertical.

We stayed at the Altein Hotel — super comfy, with fantastic food and a rich history.

Good skiing, smooth travel, and a resort that felt like a hidden gem. We'll definitely be back!
