This small country hotel is situated in Stühlingen-Schwaningen in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, and is the starting point for the Schluchtensteig Hiking Trail.

Wild boar and fresh venison is served at the restaurant, recommended by the Michelin guide. The hotel also produces its own traditional Schwarzwälderkirschwasser (Black Forest cherry liqueur).

Due to its location between Schaffhausen and Lake Titisee, the hotel is easily accessible and conveniently located for trips to Switzerland, the Alsace and Lake Constance.
