Set within 5 beautifully restored period buildings, one of which dates back to the 16th century, this unique hostel offers a selection of private rooms on Dundee’s bustling High Street.
Important Information
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), please ensure that you are only booking this property following the local government guidelines of the destination, including but not limited to the purpose of travel, and maximum allowed group size. It is not possible to stay at this property for Coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine purposes. Please inform Dundee Backpackers Hostel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A damage deposit of GBP 20 is required. The host charges this 14 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Guests arriving after midnight should call the hostel in advance, between 09:00 and 18:00 to arrange entry and check-in. Reception hours are 09.00 - 19.00 Sunday - Thursday, and 09.00 - 22.00 on Friday and Saturdays. If you plan to arrive outside these hours, please email the hostel on dundeebackpackershostel@gmail.com. Full payment will be taken at this time, and instructions regarding collection of keys and location of rooms will be emailed to you. Please note that the hostel will charge a 3% fee for non-European Economic Area (EEA) cards.
