La Plagne is a vast ski resort in the French Alps, known for its extensive slopes and family-friendly atmosphere. With over 225 kilometers of pistes and a variety of terrain, it caters to all levels of skiers and snowboarders.

La Plagne is part of the Paradiski area, offering a diverse range of runs across its 10 villages. The resort boasts a combination of high-altitude skiing and stunning mountain views, making it a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts.

The ski area of La Plagne is in the French Alps at an altitude of 2,100m 6,890ft , with 225km 140 miles of marked runs.

La Plagne is part of the Paradiski area with access to 425km 264 miles of downhill skiing, with 475 marked pistes, served by a total of 141 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in La Plagne itself ( 225km 140 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Paradiski ski resorts of Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry.

La Plagne comprises the villages of Aime La Plagne, Belle Plagne, Plagne 1800, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne Centre, Plagne Montalbert, Plagne Soleil and Plagne Villages.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to La Plagne is Limoges, 36 minutes drive away.

Brive, Annecy, Geneva, Turin Caselle and Bergerac airports are all within three hours drive.

Limoges is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

La Plagne is easily accessible via major airports such as Geneva and Chambéry, with transfer options including shuttle services and car rentals. The resort is well-connected by road, making it straightforward to reach from nearby towns.

When is La Plagne open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Late April.
