Savognin has direct access to 80km 50 miles of downhill skiing, with 24 marked pistes, served by a total of 14 ski lifts.

With ski lifts as high as 2,710m 8,891ft , skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

The longest possible descent in Savognin is 15km 9 miles long and the most difficult run is the 'Pro Spinatsch', which is 3km 2 miles in length.

Skiing

The ski area of Savognin spans from 1,200 to 2,400 meters in elevation, encompassing diverse terrain across the Parc Ela region. Notable pistes include the long runs from Piz Martegnas and the family-friendly slopes at Savognin, with efficient lifts such as the Savognin gondola and the Piz Martegnas chairlift ensuring easy access to the mountain.

Savognin offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Savognin is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 95 minutes drive away.

Lugano, Friedrichshafen, Zurich, Memmingen, Milan Malpensa, Basel, Milan Linate and Bergamo airports are all within three hours drive.

To reach Savognin, the nearest major airports are in Zurich and Geneva, both offering convenient train connections to the resort. Travelers can take the train to Chur and then a bus directly to Savognin for a scenic journey.

When is Savognin open?

 Opened (since 13 December 2025).

 Closes : 6 April 2026.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Early April.
