GB Snowsport appoint new Alpine Director

GB Snowsport have announced that Mark Tilston will be their new Alpine Director in a new role.
Tilston was previously the Head Coach of the US Men's Alpine Ski Team and is currently Academy Director at the Apex2100 International Ski Academy in Tignes.
His career also includes a stint as Head Coach and Performance Director of the British Alpine Ski Team, prior to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
Tilston said:
"More than a decade on from my last stint with the British team, I am delighted to be returning as Alpine Director. I'm honoured to have been afforded this opportunity and can't wait to get started."
In his new role, Tilston will be tasked to strengthen performance oversight of the British Alpine team, focussing on delivery across the whole Alpine programme, including all clubs, academies, and development pathways.
Tilston Mark will work alongside his existing commitments to Apex2100.

• 2026-present – Academy Director, Apex2100
• 2026-present – Alpine Director, GB Snowsport
