Kleinwalsertal

The Kleinwalsertal Region takes in the villages of Hirschegg, Mittelberg and Riezlern and is linked to the skiing at Oberstdorf in Germany. There are 50km of cleared winter walks, 8 ski schools, three non-ski kindergardens, 50km cross-country skiing, Casino in Riezlern. The Ski School programme includes lessons in Big Foot, mono-skiing, Ski Safaris and ski guiding.

 Notable Ski Runs

The longest possible descent in Kleinwalsertal is 5km3 miles long and the most difficult run is the '1Foly', which is 2km1 miles in length.

Snowboarding

Fun-Park with half and quarter pipe, barrels, slides, car, tables, fun-boxes and more. Also a test-centre and more half-pipes at Kanzelwand, Nebelhorn-Fellhorn and Ifen. Frozen Wave Party organised weekly with floodlighting and music.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Kleinwalsertal is Memmingen, 66 minutes drive away.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Friedrichshafen, Innsbruck Airport, Zurich, Stuttgart and Munich airports are all within three hours drive.

Memmingen is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Snow-making is available, on 5km3 miles of ski runs, with 19 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Kleinwalsertal open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April (Can continue skiing in to early May on nearby Zugspitz.).

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
