The ski area of Gstaad Mountain Rides comprises the ski slopes of 6 ski areas, including Gstaad, Saanen and Saanenmöser.

The ski area includes 6 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 250km 155 miles of downhill skiing, with 144 marked pistes, served by a total of 57 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Château d'Oex, Gstaad, Saanen, Saanenmöser, Schönried and Zweisimmen.

With ski lifts as high as 3,000m 9,843ft , skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Gstaad Mountain Rides is Sion, 70 minutes drive away.

Berne, Geneva, Basel, Annecy, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Zurich, Chambery, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Dole–Jura, Turin Caselle and Lugano airports are all within three hours drive.

Gstaad is accessible via major transport routes, with the nearest international airport being Geneva Airport, approximately 90 minutes away by car. Regular train services also connect Gstaad to larger cities in Switzerland.

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late October, and usual closing is Early May.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
