How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Wildhaus is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 36 minutes drive away.

Friedrichshafen, Zurich, Memmingen, Innsbruck Airport, Lugano, Basel, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Munich and Berne airports are all within three hours drive.

St. Gallen-Altenrhein is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Wildhaus, the closest major airport is Zurich Airport, approximately 90 kilometers away. From there, visitors can take a train to the nearby town of Walenstadt and continue by bus to the resort.

The nine ski lifts are able to uplift 17,170 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 10km 6 miles of ski runs, with 24 snow cannons.

When is Wildhaus open?

 Opened (since 20 December 2025).

 Closes : 29 March 2026.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Late March (Closes very end of March or very early April).

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind in local bars like the Berggasthaus Iltios, which offers a cozy atmosphere and drinks. Additionally, the nearby restaurants serve hearty Swiss cuisine, perfect for refueling.
